Your Role

As Head of Project Management, you will lead Nexian’s project management function, ensuring the successful delivery of our digital transformation projects. You will take ownership of your own project portfolio while supporting junior staff with theirs, providing guidance and oversight to maintain consistency and high-quality outcomes.

Your projects will span IT managed services, legal SaaS solutions, development initiatives, and business analysis engagements, giving you a broad and strategic remit across the business. You will play a key role in shaping Nexian’s project delivery strategy and driving operational excellence across all client engagements. 

You will work closely with client services, technical teams, and senior leadership to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, meet client expectations, and align with Nexian’s strategic goals. You will also oversee the testing of technical go-lives, ensuring smooth and successful implementations. You will have the opportunity to influence processes, tools, and methodologies, and to mentor the next generation of project managers within the business. Familiarity with Microsoft 365, cloud solutions, SaaS platforms, and software development lifecycle processes is highly advantageous.

• Oversee project planning, resourcing, budgeting, and risk management.
•  Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to align project outcomes with business objectives.
• Oversee and coordinate the testing of technical go-lives to ensure smooth deployments.
  Monitor project performance and provide regular reporting to senior leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement across all project management activities, tools, and methodologies.
• Champion a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence across the project management function.

What we're looking for

Experience

Experience leading project management teams, ideally in a professional services or technology environment. 

•  Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget. 
• Experience managing your own project portfolio while mentoring junior staff. 
•  Experience overseeing the testing and implementation of technical go-lives. 
• Experience with legal technology or SaaS implementations is highly desirable. 

Knowledge and Skills: 

Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams. 

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
• Expertise in project management methodologies (PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
•  Ability to foster collaboration and influence cross-functional teams.
• Comfortable balancing strategic oversight with hands-on project delivery.
